Natural Machines and 3DPERFIT have teamed up to provide a service that produces nutrition bars on-site using a 3D food printer called Foodini. The objective is to create an app that allows gym-goers to order customised sports nutrition products that are printed live at the gym
The 3D printing device lacks automation which requires staff, which makes it an extra salary.
It takes 15 minutes for a single bar print, which makes the user wait before and after gym time, which also is only 4 prints / hour.
The final service is a roadmap to set up 3D Printed bars live in the gym. The mobile application is currently being tested internally within LinusPro, DTI and Natural Machines. The project is currently ongoing and is being adapted based on the advancements of the 3D Printers technological capabilities.

To conduct the end-to-end service, the gym-goers with staff assistance will use the mobile app for testing purposes.
Each print would take 15 minutes. We are expecting the user to not wait long to receive their bar.
